Winners of the Area 36 Final last night at O’Donnell’s Mounthawk. Winner of Humorous Speech contest is Vicky McCarthy and winner of the Table Topics contest is Deirdre Barrett. Both Vicky and Deirdre will be representing Area 36 (Kerry and West Limerick) in the Division A final in Kinsale on Sunday. Bring on the Corkoniens.

A Great Nights Entertainment was on last night with our Humorous speech and Table Topics Club Final. Peter Harty keep us all on our toes with his topics. Mike McEgan was Contest Chair for his first time. We had three fantastic Speeches by Rachel Pinkheard, Vicky McCarthy and Eamonn Bannon. Vicky and Eamonn will be going through to the Area Final on Oct 14th at O’Donnell’s bar, Tralee. Helen Collins, Mike O’Donnell and Anthony Garvey all entered the Table Topics Contest with the Topic of “Something Beautiful”. Micheal and Anthony are through to Area Final, also on the 14th.

Tralee Toastmasters are having an extra meeting on this Monday 30th September. We are having our Humorous Speech and Table Topics Club Final. This is always a great nights entertainment with two winners from each contest going forward to the Area Final. 8pm start at O’Donnell’s bar Mounthawk, Everyone Welcome.
Another cracking Toastmasters meeting in the offing in Tralee on Monday 16th September, with Joe McDonnell DTM in the chair as Toastmaster, so come and join us! Our club humorous speech and topics contest will take place on the 30th September.
